Dedicated Truck Driver Job Description

**Job Summary**

Schneider is seeking a dedicated truck driver to haul reefer and dry van freight to Costco stores with backhauls. This is a full-time position with weekly home time and a competitive pay package.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another
* Haul reefer and dry van freight to Costco stores with backhauls
* Maintain a clean and safe driving record
* Meet or exceed Schneider's safety standards

**Benefits and Bonuses**

* Competitive pay package with mileage pay and hourly pay while on duty

* $3,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers and $1,000 sign-on bonus for inexperienced drivers
* Paid orientation and time off after 6 months
* Annual bonus: earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year

**Requirements**

* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
* Valid Commercial Learner's Permit (if interested in company-paid CDL training)
* Ability to drive at night
