Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs.
  • Deliver direct speech therapy services, addressing articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and pragmatics goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school professionals to ensure cohesive care and effective intervention strategies.
  • Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate effectively with the school team and caregivers.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the speech-language pathology field.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
