Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our Patient Support Services team at Erie Family Health Centers. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients, input charges, schedule and verify appointments
  • Collect payments at the time of service, apply fee scales appropriately, and safeguard cash and verify insurance
  • Collaborate with other Patient Support Services, Front Desk Medical Receptionists, and clinical services to ensure efficient, friendly, and cost-effective service
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Prior customer service experience is required, with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Prior physician's office experience is beneficial, as is experience with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft products
