Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our OB/GYN office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of triage experience in a medical office setting or hospital and a strong background in OB/GYN care.
Responsibilities:- Triage patient calls and make timely care decisions, scheduling appointments or directing patients to emergency care as needed.
- Maintain vital statistics and patient data, organizing it in electronic medical records per protocols.
- Communicate provider instructions to patients, including medication use, test results, and health maintenance guidance.
- Administer injections, medications, dress wounds, assist with minor surgery, and perform related tasks.
- Conduct basic lab tests and assist with specimen collection and test preparations.
- Manage prescription refills and medication orders via EMR, phone, or fax.
- Inform patients of test results or provider recommendations.
- Train new medical assistants and nurses.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- A minimum of 5 years of triage experience in a medical office setting or hospital.
- Preferred: OB/GYN experience.
