Key Responsibilities:

The Project Electrical Engineer will engage in various technical advisory services related to the electrical components of renewable energy projects. This includes:

  • Reviewing design and construction plans, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Conducting offshore construction monitoring and performance assessments.
  • Performing site inspections and evaluating project management practices.

Technical Reporting:

Prepare and present detailed technical reports, discussing methodologies and findings with both the internal project team and clients.


Comprehensive Technical Review:

Carry out thorough assessments of electrical construction documentation, which encompasses:

  • Design specifications and calculations
  • Construction submittals and test documentation
  • Quality assurance and quality control documentation
  • Inspection and test plans
  • Electrical commissioning strategies

Construction Monitoring:

Ensure compliance with construction plans, geotechnical reports, and applicable standards.


Support for Construction Management:

Assist in managing costs, progress, and quality programs while facilitating the resolution of construction-related issues.


Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive records of reviews and inspections.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Experience in offshore and onshore electrical projects is highly desirable, with a minimum of two years in the offshore wind sector.

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Expertise in LV and MV electrical equipment design.
  • Experience with project acceptance tests and commissioning for electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with offshore cabling regulations and project management.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools is essential.


Language Proficiency:

Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin are mandatory.
