Bakery Fryer Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bakery Fryer to join our team at Cub. As a Bakery Fryer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fried bakery products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and mix batter according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Fry batter in hot grease to produce high-quality fried products.
  • Clean and maintain fryers, equipment, and work area to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Rotate and stock finished products to ensure maximum product sales.
  • Assist customers with questions or requests and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and push/pull heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in temperature and humidity.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:
  • Work in a bakery environment with frequent exposure to hot grease, temperatures, and ventilation.
  • Stand for long periods and walk on uneven ground.
  • Use equipment such as timers, mixers, and fryers.
