At CASA of Tarrant County, we are seeking dedicated individuals to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) for children in foster care. As a CASA, you will provide a consistent presence in a child's life, gathering information from various sources and advocating for their best interests in court.
Key Responsibilities:
- Get to know the child and gather information from their family, teachers, doctors, and other caregivers.
- Provide an important voice for the child in and outside of court.
- Advocate for family permanency through reunification or adoption.
- Help reestablish healthy family connections and advocate for reunification.
- Ultimately, advocate for the best interests of the child.
