Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Services team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the 24/7 operations of our emergency department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in progressive leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Formal coursework in management, finance, and other administrative subjects.
  • National Certification from a recognized professional organization in a relevant field of clinical expertise.
  • Management experience in a healthcare setting.
