This role is responsible for general building maintenance, repairs, moving of furniture, and other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing general building and facility maintenance
  • Assisting with HVAC projects
  • Maintaining woodwork, paint, wallpaper, doors, and other facilities
  • Fleet vehicle maintenance
  • Weekly inventory counts of cleaning supplies, parts, and assets
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly preventative maintenance checks and readings
  • Maintaining the landscape of Melaleuca properties
  • Working long or unusual hours when needed
  • Performing various special projects according to skill and ability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous building maintenance experience
  • Previous HVAC experience is helpful
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and up to 100 lbs.
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Standing, sitting, or walking for duration of shift
  • Pulling, stretching, bending, and lifting for duration of shift
  • Manual dexterity for duties such as wiping, dusting, cleaning, etc.
  • Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
  • Good computer skills
