Job Summary and Qualifications
The Critical Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers exceptional, patient-focused care. In partnership with medical professionals, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing services. The RN acts as a patient advocate to ensure an unparalleled patient experience.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for

Responsibilities:


You will consistently implement the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to independently provide safe nursing care to patients.

You will collaborate with the patient care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
You will demonstrate effective communication, confidence, and professionalism through active participation in unit and organizational activities
You will exhibit teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource for the patient care team
You will be accountable for delivering high-quality nursing services and for promoting a positive image of nursing
Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
Methodist Hospital Texsan is a 120-bed acute care facility. We are recognized as one of South Texas's leading heart and orthopedic hospitals. We hold certifications in chest pain and heart failure, offering comprehensive cardiac services.

Our orthopedic programs, including the Joint Replacement Academy and the Center for Spine, boast some of the best clinical outcomes in the industry.
