Job Summary

The Driver Class A – Transportation is responsible for the timely movement of equipment and freight in and out of warehouse facilities. This role requires strong driving and coordination skills to support the Audio Visual & Event Technology team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist with all truck moves, including tractor-trailers and straight truck needs
  • Assist with proper loading and unloading of company trucks
  • Assist with various warehouse tasks as directed by the supervisor
  • Operate in a safe manner, obeying all local/state/federal regulations and all company safety policies
  • Fulfill all Department of Transportation requirements, including periodic medical evaluations, completing forms for driver qualification file, hours-of-service and vehicle inspection logs
  • Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience

Must be at least 21 years of age in order to apply to this job. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prefer 1 year driving experience. Prefer CDL A or B, but not necessary.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a valid Driver's license for vehicles 26,000 pounds and less. Must have or have the ability to obtain Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 25%.
