Job Description

The Voice System Administrator is a critical role at Navy Federal Credit Union, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Voice Services systems. As a problem solver, you will assess business needs and execute solutions to improve or manage our Voice Services infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis and Research: Investigate operational or business problems and propose solutions that align with Navy Federal's ISD standards and best practices.
  • Process Definition: Define core work definitions and operating models, documenting step-by-step life cycles and process flows.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for new or improved processes, separating and combining tasks to improve operations and overall performance.
  • Business Area Focus: Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert in the Voice Services area, collaborating with peers, business units, and vendors to ensure business needs are met.
  • Communication: Provide consistent, concise, and timely information to internal and external stakeholders through various media channels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 1-3 years of Cisco CUCM programming experience.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management, staff, and vendors.
  • Effective planning, organizational, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Voice and Data communication concepts, installation, and maintenance.
Level 1:

Applies general professional-level knowledge and principles to solve problems, identifying and analyzing non-routine factors. Typically assigned to small projects or a phase of a larger project.

Follows established policies, procedures, and methodologies as required for the analyst role. Works closely with resource managers for guidance and supervision.

Receives guidance or expertise from supervisors or higher-level staff. Demonstrates knowledge of analysis techniques and concepts.
