We are seeking a skilled Animal Care Technician to become a vital part of our dedicated team in a fast-paced veterinary environment.

The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of hands-on experience in a veterinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring anesthesia and assisting in surgical procedures
  • Performing dental and general radiographic examinations
  • Executing venipuncture, sample collection, and processing in-house laboratory samples
  • Administering vaccinations, conducting nail trims, expressing anal glands, performing heartworm tests, and removing sutures
  • Taking vital signs and administering various treatments and injections, including subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous
  • Maintaining accurate medical records, entering notes and charges, updating packages for puppies and kittens, and communicating animal status to pet owners
  • Cleaning animal enclosures and equipment, as well as preparing surgical instruments and tables
  • Assisting at the front desk, which includes answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and supporting front office staff during check-out

Our team members have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including canines, felines, and occasional small mammals. A flexible schedule is essential, with availability for both morning (starting at 7 AM) and evening shifts (ending at 7 PM) during weekdays, as well as Saturdays.
