Mohs Histotech Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mohs Histotech to join our team at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. As a Mohs Histotech, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination and diagnostic interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination and diagnostic interpretation
• Determine the appropriate protocols, procedures, and quality control measures to follow
• Consistently adhere to established guidelines and protocols
• Perform processing, embedding, cutting, staining, and coverslipping
• Accession specimens and match slides with requisitions
• Perform tasks relating to troubleshooting and quality control as required

Requirements

• Associate's degree required
• Preferred one year of experience in embedding, cutting, staining, and troubleshooting
