Key Responsibilities

1. **Food Preparation and Service**: Engage in routine duties associated with the preparation and serving of food for patients and cafeteria customers. Operate essential food preparation equipment safely and effectively.

2. **Sanitation and Cleanliness**: Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas by adhering to established protocols for quality, safety, and infection control. This includes thorough cleaning of workstations, counters, and equipment.

3. **Cashier Duties**: Perform cashier responsibilities utilizing the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring accurate transactions and customer service.

4. **Inventory Management**: Monitor and replenish supplies and food products in the café, ensuring that all items are stocked and available for service.

5. **Temperature Monitoring**: Set up serving lines, ensuring that food temperatures are recorded and maintained within acceptable limits. Notify kitchen staff of any discrepancies.

6. **Customer Interaction**: Provide excellent service to customers in dining areas, including serving hot and cold food items and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 6 months in a cashier or grill cook role, or demonstrated proficiency in multiple tray line positions.
- **Certification**: A valid food handler card issued by an authorized training institution is required.
