Dishroom Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dish Person to join our team at Houlihan's Restaurant and Bar. As a Dish Person, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

• Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are clean and sanitized to maintain a high level of food safety and quality.
• Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including sweeping and mopping floors, and restocking supplies.
• Assist with putting away food deliveries and breaking down boxes.
• Participate in side work during shift downtime, including rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, and cleaning work areas.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic math skills and ability to count change.
• Ability to read and write in English.

This position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals. The ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
