Merchandise Associate

This role is responsible for supporting the Field Activity Support Team (FAST) in various stores within a designated district. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing tasks such as planograms, physical inventories, and merchandise assembly, while providing exceptional customer service.

• Maintain regular attendance and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Communicate effectively with the District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and solutions.
• Complete planograms and resets accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store-specific measurements.
• Conduct accurate counts for store inventories and cycle counts.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Provide legendary customer service by greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and asking for the sale.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the District FAST Supervisor.

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.

The working environment is favorable, with moderate noise levels. Work shifts vary, but generally last at least 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours. Traveling between store locations in a personal vehicle is required, often with long periods of time.

• Ability to travel as required in support of district needs.
• Ability to push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to occasionally lift or reach merchandise overhead.
• Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Ability to safely access all areas of the store.
