We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our retail pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert pharmacy consulting services to patients, including medication therapy management and disease state management.
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote health and wellness initiatives.
- Participate in clinical and wellness services, such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize pharmacy operations, improve patient satisfaction, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
