The Event Support Staff plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service during events, ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. This position requires a commitment to professionalism and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit unwavering professionalism and composure in all situations.
- Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for the product and provide outstanding guest experiences through knowledgeable suggestions and honest sales techniques.
- Inform guests about our offerings, processes, and history in a transparent manner.
- Meet guest expectations by adhering to the proper sequence of service, moving with intention, confidence, and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue at all times.
- Complete assigned tasks such as setup, side work, and closing duties promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the Event Lead or Event Manager to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled thoroughly and efficiently during shifts.
- Recognize the significance of internal hospitality and foster a supportive team environment.
- Exhibit strong time management skills and accountability, with shifts scheduled in advance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a serving or bartending role.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with a flexible schedule.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- A dedication to providing an outstanding customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A general knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits.
- One year of experience in a bartending role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
- Willingness to work at heights.
- Ability to navigate wet surfaces.
- Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and/or hazardous materials.
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts and lift truck traffic.
- Capability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and able to stand or sit for extended periods, as well as work on a computer for prolonged durations. Lifting may be necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
