About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Waltonwood. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils, and load them into the dish machine.
  • Wash certain pots, pans, and equipment by hand, following proper sanitation techniques.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors, and ensure the kitchen area is sanitized.
  • Report any hazardous situations or concerns to the Culinary Supervisor or Service Director.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of dish cleaning practices and dining etiquette.
  • Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
