Key Responsibilities
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Marriott standards as required by scheduling.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
  • Comply with Marriott standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms per shift.
  • Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
  • Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
  • Collect soiled linens for laundering, make beds, and replenish room supplies.
  • Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • Housekeeping experience desirable.
  • An engaging, friendly, and positive personality.
  • Good time management skills.
  • The ability to work on feet for an extended period.
  • The ability to communicate effectively.
  • The ability to move, traverse, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position, and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
  • The ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25lbs.
