Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Central Sterile Reprocessing Educator at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our Central Sterile department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing educational programs for our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs for Central Sterile staff
- Assist staff in acquiring and maintaining IAHCSMM certification
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs
- Stay current on medical reprocessing techniques, methods, and developments
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in assessing and formulating educational curricula
Requirements:
- Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Graduate of an approved Central Sterile Reprocessing training course
- Certification (CSPDT or CRCST and Certified Endoscope Reprocessing) required
- 2-5 years of experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing with a technician certification
