Allegiance Home Care is a trusted provider of home care services, serving a wide range of clients across various locations. We are currently looking for dedicated caregivers to assist our clients in the ENGLEWOOD area.

Available Shifts:

  • Day shift: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (Tuesday through Sunday)
  • Evening shift: 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Tuesday through Saturday)

Experience is REQUIRED as this position involves working with an IHSS client. We are seeking skilled, enthusiastic, and compassionate individuals to provide support to our clients. Our clients have consistent schedules, ensuring reliable hours. This particular client enjoys outings and adventures, so you will be driving their van and accompanying them regularly.

We offer:

  • Competitive compensation at $20.00/hr
  • $1.50/hr additional for weekend shifts
  • Reimbursement for travel time between clients
  • Client-specific training and ongoing education provided and compensated
  • Medical, Health, and Dental benefits available for those working 30+ hours per week after the waiting period

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a reliable vehicle for errands and shopping
  • Must provide a consistent schedule of availability and adhere to the agreed hours
  • 1 year of caregiving experience and/or a CNA certification is PREFERRED
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S., pass mandatory state and federal background checks, and have a negative drug test
  • Exemplary attendance, punctuality, teamwork, and a patient, positive demeanor are essential

Responsibilities:

Provide Health Maintenance Activities and support for daily living tasks, which may include:

  • Assisting with positioning, transfers, ambulation, and exercises
  • Providing bowel and bladder care, including perineal care
  • Supporting daily hygiene routines
  • Reminding clients to take medications
  • Assisting with nutritional needs, including meal preparation and hydration
  • Offering protective oversight as necessary
  • Observing and reporting any changes in the client's condition to licensed professionals
  • Maintaining a clean and safe home environment
  • Helping with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Facilitating shopping and appointments outside the home
  • Assisting with personal care and other duties outlined in the service plan
