Job Title: Driver

PACS Pennyrile Allied Community Services is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to transport passengers as assigned, adhering to all driving laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport passengers safely and efficiently, following all driving laws and regulations.
  • Follow all PACS driver policies and procedures.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch office and other stakeholders.
  • Perform daily vehicle maintenance tasks, including washing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • On-the-job training for CPR, First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogen, and PACS Driver Training modules within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Good vision and hearing, with ability to communicate effectively via 2-way radio or cellular phone.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to assist passengers on and off vehicles.
  • Ability to operate lift-equipped vehicles and deploy ramps manually.
  • Ability to work in a variety of temperatures and environments.
