Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at MedlinkHealth Anesthesia. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer flow throughout the clinic, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for patients.
  • Assist providers in the management and treatment of patients, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications as directed.
  • Perform clinical and clerical tasks, such as laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and x-ray duties as assigned.
  • Provide support to the clinic, including front desk/check-in support, ordering and stocking supplies, and assistance with prior authorizations.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, including providers, nurses, and other staff members, to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required, with on-the-job experience or training, and participation in a registration program conducted by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam.
  • Medical Assistant certification required.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
