Job Summary:

The National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a skilled Youth Clinician to join our team. As a Youth Clinician, you will work closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners to provide counseling, therapy, and support services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management, transportation, and other professional services to clients served.
  • Manage a small caseload, traveling daily to provide In-Home Services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned foster parents and families of origin.
  • Assist in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth's primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth's case plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field; Master's preferred.
  • LSW or LPC required.
  • Experience in providing both individual and family therapy.
  • Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
  • Experience with TF-CBT preferred.
