Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care team at Penn State Health. As a critical care physician assistant, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness in an inpatient critical care setting
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide individualized care to patients
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program or equivalent
  • National Certification in the State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
