Are you adept at maintaining cleanliness and organization? Do you possess the skills to manage laundry operations effectively? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

  • Responsible for sorting heavily soiled garments and linens received from various departments;
  • Efficiently fills linen carts for distribution;
  • Handles folding and organizing of residents' personal attire;
  • Maintains an adequate supply of linens in the Storage Room and Linen Closets;
  • Conducts routine inventory counts and documents them appropriately;
  • Loads and unloads washing machines and dryers (must be capable of lifting heavy items, including 50-pound bags of soiled linens); wet laundry can be quite heavy.
  • Utilizes commercial ironing equipment for sheets, tablecloths, and similar items;
  • Operates small folding machines;
  • Picks up soiled linens from resident areas and transports them to the laundry facility;
  • Weighs and records the weight of soiled linens;
  • Loads clean linen carts for distribution;
  • Labels clothing with identification tags;
  • Cleans lint traps and other equipment; maintains cleanliness of laundry carts.
  • Handles deliveries of linens and large containers of cleaning chemicals;
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage stress, pressure, and anxiety effectively;
  • May also be cross-trained as a Housekeeping Aide as needed.
