Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language services to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication, oral-motor integrity, cognitive status, memory, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and hearing disorders.
  • Administer speech therapy programs using specialized techniques and equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on speech and language disorders and treatment options.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • State licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum one year of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic medical records.
