Insurance Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team at The Gallagher Search Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling existing client processes, renewals, rewrites, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Market existing business for cross sells and up sells, transferring cross sells to the Personal Insurance Producer.
• Input customer applications into the agency management system from the carrier rating applications on manually entered policies.
• Assemble application(s), photos, appraisals, etc. to be submitted to the insurance carriers for policy issuance and document in AMS360 Activity.
• Monitor renewal process by verifying all policies pulled up in AMS have been renewed, rewritten, etc.
• Receive phone calls from clients regarding insurance, claims, evidence of insurance, or policy issues and respond to requests.
• Main tasks include handling carrier interfacing per agency standards, pick-up and service mail daily, and updating AMS for cancellations, reinstatements.
• Qualifications include a minimum of two years' experience in a similar position, thorough understanding of personal lines underwriting and coverage, and proficiency in AMS360 and Outlook.

Requirements

• Self-starter with good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be licensed per state requirements.
• Accurate data entry.
