Job Overview

REI Systems is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support our server infrastructure and assist in cloud migration efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing patches, performing software upgrades, and configuring hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage network user accounts, shared folders, and user permissions
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and system performance issues, including virus resolution
  • Perform vulnerability scans and assist in penetration testing
  • Ensure systems comply with software agreements and monitor system and security logs
  • Report incidents to the security manager and manage security certificates and DNS aliases
  • Assist with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and annual security assessments
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience with systems engineering in a development-driven organization or team
  • Experience in Windows Systems Administration
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in systems engineering within a development-focused organization or team
  • Strong background in Windows Systems Administration
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Education and Clearance

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline. U.S. citizenship is required and the candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

We are looking for candidates in the Virginia, DC or Maryland area. This role can be 100% remote.
