We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications to our warehouse facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including building and grounds maintenance, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with installations, modifications, and replacements of tools, equipment, and other maintenance projects as assigned.
- Operate power equipment to sweep, wash warehouse floors, aisles, and clean up spills.
- Perform scheduled custodial duties, paint, scrape, power wash, and other projects as assigned.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging toilets, and cleaning carpets.
- Assist warehouse personnel, outside contractors, and maintenance personnel on special maintenance projects as directed.
- Perform PMs on all equipment, including conveyor systems, powered industrial trucks, and specialized equipment.
- Responsible for completing work orders and submitting maintenance recap reports daily to management.
- Communicate with vendors and provide quotes for management review.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6-12 months of maintenance experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to fix dock plates, garage doors, pallet jacks, and operate industrial tools.
- Ability to do general carpentry repairs and painting of walls, ceilings, flooring, etc.
- Computer skills to work with POs, work orders, read blueprints, and process flows.
