Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Afternoon Custodian to join our team at the Trumbull County Educational Service Center. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Perform routine custodial duties, such as emptying trash, restocking supplies, and cleaning restrooms.
- Operate and maintain cleaning and maintenance equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and power washers.
- Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and teardown of equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with other support staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the school.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
