About JCC East Bay

The JCC East Bay is a vibrant community that fosters learning, growth, and connection. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can thrive.

We are seeking a dedicated Afterschool Jewish Educator to join our team at our Berkeley location. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging educational programs for children in grades TK-Kindergarten.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in a safe and nurturing environment

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Jewish values and traditions

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth and successful experience

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in childcare or a related field

• 48+ college credits in Education or a related field

• Background and experience in Jewish education and arts education

• Hebrew language fluency

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

What We Offer
