About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Salon Manager at our Great Clips salon. As a key member of our team, you will support the Salon Manager in daily operations, recruiting, and administrative tasks. You will also have the opportunity to develop your technical, administrative, and leadership skills through our comprehensive training program, Great Clips University.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Salon Manager in daily operations, including managing salon schedules, coordinating staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Recruit and train new stylists, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality haircuts.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as managing inventory, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest hair care trends, products, and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of hair care products and trends, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest styles and techniques.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Oregon Cosmetology/Barber license, with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service.
