Position Title: Caf Worker

Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager

Employment Type: Non-Exempt / Hourly

Classification: Seasonal

Compensation: $12-14 per hour

Job Overview: The Caf Worker is responsible for executing daily operations within the Depot Caf, Concession Train Car, and Food Trucks. Key responsibilities include food preparation, delivering excellent customer service, managing cash transactions, overseeing inventory, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Manager on Duty to understand daily targets and objectives.
  • Prepare food items for the Depot Caf and Concession Train Car, including boxed meals.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, provide menu information, and possess knowledge of food ingredients.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including start-up and end-of-shift cash counts and sales processing.
  • Maintain a professional service standard as outlined by Food & Beverage Management.
  • Wear complete uniform throughout the shift.
  • Follow company service standards, procedures, and policies diligently.
  • Comply with health department regulations and maintain sanitary food handling practices.
  • Distribute boxed meals and assist guests at the cafe window.
  • Support inventory management through receiving and proper storage practices.
  • Assist in various Food and Beverage operations as needed.
  • Participate in required training sessions.
  • Adhere to company cash handling protocols.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Work Environment:
  • Must be adaptable to varying work schedules.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Minimum age requirement is 16 years.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays is preferred.
  • Ability to remain on feet for extended periods is necessary.
