Job Summary

This position is responsible for cleaning patient rooms, dismissal units, public areas, and ancillary spaces. You will be expected to follow proper procedures for separating regular waste from biohazardous waste, disposing of sharps containers, and storing clean and dirty linens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean patient rooms and dismissal units, including disinfecting all surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning sinks, counter areas, shower, and toilet, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, restocking paper products, and shampooing carpet.
  • Follow proper procedure for separating regular waste from biohazardous waste, disposal of needles, and storage of clean and dirty linens.
  • Clean public and ancillary areas, including wearing a backpack vacuum, cleaning restrooms, trash disposal, and damp disinfecting.
  • Dispose of sharps container per policy (if applicable).

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $18.29 - $23.64 per hour, based on your skills and experience.
