Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dining Services Director to oversee all aspects of our dining services, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Supervise and train a team of dietary associates to ensure excellent food preparation and presentation
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and storage to maintain quality and control costs
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Participate in special events and activities, such as holiday meals and resident celebrations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and excellent resident satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized training in food service management preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Continued education in food service management and culinary arts preferred
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
