Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Class A to join our team. As a Class A CDL holder, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, with a focus on solo driving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Top earners: $135,000/year - $2,600/week
- Driver positions pay weekly
- Solo miles pay: $0.62 per mile
- Solo stops pay: $25.77 per stop
- Per diem pay: $61.85 per night with 4 nights per week
- Sign-on bonus: $2,500 at 30 days and $2,500 at 90 days
- Safety bonus: $1,200 per year
- Paid training
- Schedule: Home every weekend
- Start time: Daytime start
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
