Job Opportunity

VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region Inc is seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our Care Plus program in Rutland County.

We offer a supportive work environment, competitive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or licensed Therapist to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect patient and family data and report findings to RN and/or licensed Therapist in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the communication of information to assigned patients.
  • Perform interventions and procedures as directed to ensure safe, effective, and quality care for patients.
  • Advocate for patient care issues to ensure overall quality and type of care is sensitive to each specific patient/family's needs.
  • Perform various patient care tasks, including activities of daily living, collection of vital signs, ambulation/exercises, etc.

Requirements:

  • Valid State of Vermont Nursing Assistant License
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License and Current Auto Insurance
  • Experienced or newly graduated LNA's welcome
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required
