Pediatric Medicine Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Medicine Nurse to join our team at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. As a member of our 41-bed pediatric medicine unit, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients with a range of medical conditions, including cystic fibrosis, diabetes, and inflammatory bowel disease.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Florida or compact state.
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in pediatrics, with a focus on medical-surgical care.
  • AHA BLS certification.
