Job Title: Principal Planner - Long Range

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Planner to lead our long-range planning team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in urban and regional planning or a related field, and 36 months of experience in planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the department's long-range planning team.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations of planning project activities and recommendations.
  • Work with other local governments to facilitate and coordinate planning and transportation projects.
  • Conduct research and studies on the impact of various private and public planning projects on the County.
  • Provide staff support to various commissions, committees, community groups, and the Historic Preservation Commission.

Requirements: Master's degree in urban and regional planning or a related field, and 36 months of experience in planning.
