Banquet Bartender Job Description

At Marriott International, we are committed to delivering exquisite experiences for our guests. As a Banquet Bartender at one of our luxury hotels and resorts, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well-cared for.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to join our team at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California.
  • This is a part-time position that requires banquet bar experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related work experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
  2. Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles.
  3. Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  4. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
  5. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  6. Transport supplies to bar set-up area.
  7. Wash soiled glassware.
  8. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.
  9. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
  10. Process all payment methods.
  11. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  12. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  13. Complete closing duties.

Benefits:

  • The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $16.00 per hour.
