Job Summary

Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and oversight of behavioral services to children, youth, and young adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional Behavioral Assessment and Treatment Planning: Develop and revise comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments and Individualized Treatment Plans to address the unique needs of our clients.
  • Service Oversight: Provide clinical direction and oversight of the implementation of Individualized Treatment Plans by Behavioral Health Technician staff.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document client progress and communicate effectively with parents, treatment teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Training and Professional Development: Complete assigned trainings and maintain current knowledge of best practices and guidelines in the field.
  • Supervision and Support: Conduct weekly/monthly supervision of staff providing Behavioral Health Technician services and provide regular communication with clients, families, and treatment teams.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A valid Behavior Specialist License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a graduate degree from a college or university accredited by an agency.
  • Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in the mental health field with children, preferably in the behavioral field.
  • Skills and Qualifications: A strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and best practices in behavioral health, excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
