Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business, information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and presenting capability models and roadmaps to facilitate discussion and decision making with stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Assisting with the analysis of the business' future-state capabilities and future (and current) IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Working with peers to identify and analyze enterprise business outcomes and drivers to derive useful business context
  • Developing diagnostic and actionable deliverables to guide investment decisions in support of executing business strategy
  • Facilitating analysis of the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Preparing executive-level presentations to communicate highly complex technical solutions and options to non-technical audiences
  • Working within the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure the end-to-end application architecture, engineering, and transformation across on-premise and cloud services effectively support global business requirements
  • Collaborating with IT and business resources to assist in quickly estimating the level of effort required to address business challenges
  • Demonstrating proficiency in delivering projects covering all technology stacks, including Mainframe Legacy, Custom 2-Tier/3-Tier, 3rd Party packages, SAP, Business Intelligence, and Infrastructure

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in the following areas:

  • At least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier environment
  • Strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis
  • IT services experience with the ability to deliver large, complex, enterprise-wide systems and applications
  • Experience in full project life cycle and fundamental understanding of Custom development and package implementations
  • SAP hands-on technical architecture ABAP supporting different functional areas, including 1+ years of SAP PLM implementation and system architecture
  • Experience in implementing solution architecture, technical architecture, and engineering guidelines, standards, and procedures
  • Experience working within teams for operational support and project delivery (agile and waterfall methodology)

Required skills and abilities include:

  • Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management
  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, predictive analytics, AI, and others
  • Experience and designing and configuring SAP PLM/PPM/EHSM modules
  • Experience in Web Dynpro for ABAP, FPM, Classical and OO ALV Reporting, BDC, Module pool programming, and good knowledge on OO-ABAP
  • Experience in SAP integration tools such as BODs, CIDS, PI, etc.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Knowledge of business engineering principles and processes
  • Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools, and model repositories
  • Highly collaborative and supportive of business and its ideals and strategies
  • Strong knowledge of application development workflows and methodologies
  • Excellent partnering skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with executives, senior management, business stakeholders, operations, IT, and third-party providers
  • Strong understanding of project implementations, project structure, and life cycle and best practice standards and tools
  • Proven ability in creating business process models, developing logical

Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis, or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.
