Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Nurse Practitioner in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our medical team to diagnose and treat patients, and contributing to the development of our department's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with our medical team to diagnose and treat patients, including ordering diagnostic tests and medications as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of our department's policies and procedures, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and providing feedback to our leadership team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advances in emergency medicine and nursing practice.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Virginia.
  • Experience working in an emergency department or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
