Job Summary:

The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality medical services to diverse communities. As a key member of our team, the Revenue Cycle Manager will play a crucial role in maximizing cash flow while maintaining excellent internal and external customer relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate billing and collection activities to ensure timely and accurate payment from insurance providers and patients.
• Monitor accounts receivable activity to identify and address any discrepancies or issues.
• Participate in monthly close processes, including reporting and account balancing to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure accurate billing of insurance providers and patients, and document medical billing denials from insurance providers.
• Evaluate billing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Train new staff members on revenue cycle processes and procedures.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent, and a minimum of 4 years of medical billing experience. Knowledge of professional fee billing, reimbursement, and third-party payer regulation, as well as medical terminology, is required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make timely decisions are essential. Experience in managed care contracting and negotiations, as well as supervisory experience, are preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience with 340B monitoring and management are also desirable.
