Weekend Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a part-time pharmacist to join our team at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Hutchinson, MN. As a weekend pharmacist, you will work every 3rd weekend, providing excellent patient care and contributing to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers
  • Champion Thrifty White programs, such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, to patients and assist with enrollment
  • Lead the team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service
  • Structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and clinical services
  • Develop and follow up on long-term care business through immediate communication and attention to the needs of nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences
  • Identify long-term care and specialty business opportunities and communicate with marketers
  • Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services
Requirements:
  • A pharmacy license or the ability to receive one without federal sanctions
  • A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program)
  • Current Immunization Certification
  • Current CPR Certification
  • NPI Number
