Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our Commercial Litigation team at The Goodkind Group, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of secured financing enforcement proceedings, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and conducting due diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of secured financing enforcement proceedings independently
  • Draft and argue dispositive motions and injunction papers
  • Conduct due diligence related to the purchase and sale of notes and mortgages
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and appeals
  • Represent clients in State and Federal Court appearances and mediations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions
  • Admission to practice in New York is required; New Jersey admission is preferred
