Job Summary:

At Builders FirstSource, we're seeking a skilled Yard Receiver II to join our team. As a key member of our receiving team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our inventory management process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or defects
  • Verify receiving documents against shipment contents
  • Record and report any discrepancies or issues
  • Unload and move shipments to designated storage areas
  • Process receiving documents and forward them to the appropriate department

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of related experience in receiving, inventory management, or a similar field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
